(confluent) - starts behind ears, then to face, trunks and limbs

(inflammation of parotid glands)

- Conjunctivitis

Symptomatic relief:
- Paracetamol
- Ibuprofen

A
- plenty of rest
- keep hydrated
- keep children off school for contagious period
- avoid acidic drinks in Mumps
- Rubella children keep away form pregnant women

- Complications include:
– Otitis media
