A
  • Refer all apart from babies (unless taking steroid inhalers)
  • Recurrent infection
  • OTC treatment failure (>1week)

A

Daktarin oral gel (apply 4 times a day after meals)

at least 4 months and 1 week after symptoms gone

Advice for oral thrush

A
  • If taking high dose ICS, encourage use of spacer and mouth rinsing after use
  • If breastfeeding, apply miconazole to nipple and wipe away before feeding
