- Warm clear fluids/lemon and honey drinks
- simple cough mixtures (linctus)
Cough Advice
- dry tickly coughs are self limiting (usually viral)
- do not treat chest cough with anti-tussive
(mucus can accumulate in lung increasing chest infection) - use sugar free products in diabetes
