what is termination
where the employee leaves a particular workplace, ending the employee relationship. termination can be voluntary or involuntary
what is retirement
where the employee decides to leave the workforce. it is voluntary and a period of notice must be given by the employee so the employer can negotiate an end date.

entitled access to superannuation once they hit retirement age set by the government. some may be entitled to a pension.

when an employee is terminated because the business no longer needs a particular job to be done or fewer people to do that particular type of job.
