Sector commander Fire briefing

A

situation …. where is the fire floor/location i have got information from RP, MDT PIB etc..
Hazard ……. whats on fire are persons reported
i want you to be the sector command fire, i want you to take a crew of 4, which includes yourself, a BA crew of 2 and An ECO, plus F.I.R.E System, To establish a suitable location and set up a bridgehead. This would normally be to floors below the fire but if safe to do so, you and your ECO may preform a recce to locate a more suitable location.
I want you to update me regularly with your progress and the conditions up there. When you have Established the bridgehead, got a charged 45mm jet and you have secured access and egress from the bridgehead, please let me know and I can inform control that high rise procedure has been implemented.

I will keep you updated with an other information I receive.

360 brief

A

I want you to do a 360 of the building and me form me if you see any signs of life, that’s people inside the building or outside, fire or smoke, any hazards which include cylinders, fire loading, chemicals or any thing else that has the potential to become involved. I also want to look to see if there are any other access points. If you see any of these things or any thing that feel is important to this incident contact on channel one of your hand held radio. if not, can you please report back to me here when you have completed the 360, as i will probably have another role for you.

Safety officer/external spotters brief

A

I’m appointing you the safety officer and I want you to assemble a large enough crew to preform the role of external spotters where by you can view all sides of the building. I want your crew to report directly to me and the sector command fire on channel 1 of any fire or smoke that you can see, if it spreads which could indicate building failure. Any persons that require rescue or could be come involved and changes in weather condition that could affect the fire. And anything else that you feel could be important to this incident.
