What is agility?
The ability to change position and control the body at speed. - Basketball players trying to get passed a defender.
What is balance?
Being able to keep the body stable while at rest or on the move. - Gymnast keeping body stable on the floor.
What are the 2 types of balance?
Static and Dynamic
What is coordination?
The ability to use 2 or more body parts together. - Cricket players stepping to the ball and using arms to hit it.
What is power?
The ability to undertake strength performances quickly. - High jumpers using power in legs to jump high.
What is the formula for power?
Power= strength X speed
What is reaction time?
The time between a stimulus and a movement in response to it. - Sprinter reacting to shot to start race.
What is speed?
The rate at which an individual can perform a movement or cover a distance. - Full backs tracking back to chase attacker.
