What is R.I.C.E

A

Rest - sit down or lie down and do not move
Ice - cool the injured area by applaying ice
Compression - use bandage to stop the swelling
Elavation - Raise the jont higher than the heart to reduce the swelling

Concussion

A

Concussion is an injury normally caused by a blow to the head and can happen in many sports. 

Symptoms: headaches, weakness, loss of co-ordination or balance, confusion or slurred speech. 

Protocol: Under 19 = 23 days without any symptoms.
