Doing sumersults

A
  • her face forward, with arms held upwrds
  • she leans forwards, lifts her seat and tucks it in tightly, hold the position with hands on her shins as she jumps
  • she releases her legs, extends them and stretching out her body
    She raises her arms to slow down the rotation and lands

Jumped somersaults are similar. Front and back somersaults are whole-body movements in the sagittal plane, around the frontal axis.
