Positioning of Police Vehicle on roads
Inline - Emergency lighting is more clearly visible at distance, but is less obvious the car is stationary. Collision leads to car pushed to safety zone.
Fend off - Police vehicle is obvious static. Emergency lightening reduce, collision sends car into traffic.
Fend in - Police vehicle obviously static, reduce lightening and visibility of traffic is reduced.
