indicative of PDA
mucoid impaction of large airways
allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, CF
bilateral vascular impressions on the esophagus
double-aortic arch
gallbladder-like fluid collection measuring <15mm without a normal GB wall
biliary atresia (image: Triangular Cord Sign)
Gallbladder ghost triad represehts three gallbladder features on biliary atresia:
- atretic gallbladder, length less than 19 mm
- irregular or lobular contour
- lack of smooth/complete echogenic mucosal lining with an indistinct wall
dilated cecum and ascending colon, gradually decreasing caliber toward the rectum
total colon aganglionosis (rare form of Hirschprung)
one thymic lobe may appear more prominent than the other and have a triangular configuration
thymus gland
crescent-shaped deformity of the sacrum

residual masses of meconium appearing as calcificaions and creating multiple scattered bright echoes
meconium peritonitis
air mixed with meconium in the numerous distended loops of intestine
meconium ileus
ectopic ureterocele
subtle anterior pneumothorax
> 4 mm echogenic tissue at the porta hepatitis following the portal veins
biliary atresia
multifocal biliary tree strictures alternating with ductal distension
sclerosing cholangitis
