NOPE! they need to drink only fresh water (if the an open container of water is open in the fridge, it’s ok for them to drink)
REMEMBER that a SLIGHT increase in temperature in an immunosupressed person may mean____. Why?
sepsis
- immunosuppressed people don’t get the spike in temperature because there aren’t enough WBCs to create a large response.
which white blood cell group is the MOST important to keep track of? most important lab work?
neutrophils; (an absolute neutrophil count is thee most important lab work to do)
