Describe the Vas deferens?
Muscular tube
What does the Vas deferens go through?
Inguinal canal
What does the Vas Deferens join?
Duct from the seminal vesicle to form ejaculatory duct
Where does the Vas Deferens terminate?
Into prostate to meet urethra
Where does the ureter cross?
The bifurcation of the common iliac
How long is the seminal vesicle?
5cm long but uncoiled is 10-15cm long
What does the seminal vesicles secrete?
Liquid component of semen and fructose
The prostate gland is inferior to?
The bladder
What does the prostate gland contain?
Proteolytic enzymes and acid phophatase
What is in relation with the prostate gland?
Urethra and ejaculatory duct
What arteries supply the prostate gland?
Internal pudendal, middle rectal and inferior vesicle arteries
What are the veins that supply the Prostate gland?
Deep dorsal of penis and internal iliac
What are the structures that support the prostate gland?
Pubo-prostatic ligament and lavatory prostatae
What happens with prostatic enlargement?
Affects all or parts of the prostate. May be benign or malignant commonly seen in males over 50
What is the lymphatic drainage of the testis?
Aortic nodes ar root of testicular artery (L2)
