What to do with QL2 after flight Manual ?

A

The original sheet(s) of the QL2
are removed a the completion of each days flying,
by the pilot in command, then forwarded to operations control, Sydney.
The Aircraft Allocations Controller will process and forward the
original sheet/s of the QL2 to Technical Records Sydney.

Logs Entered in Error ?

A

Where an entire coupon is incorrect, the words “Entered in
Error” are to be written diagonally across the coupon with a single line above and
below the notation. The person making the correction shall append their signature,
certification authorisation number (or pilot licence number) and the date. The CRS
block is to be voided with a single diagonal line.

Category A ?

A

Q200 / Q300 - Whenever the specified interval is stated in cycles or flight time, the
time interval begins on the flight day following the day of discovery. Unless a time
interval shorter than 24 hours is indicated, the time interval shall commence at
midnight at the end of the day on which the malfunction was recorded.

A

Items in this category shall be repaired within one hundred and twenty (120)
consecutive calendar days, excluding the day the malfunction was recorded in
the aircraft maintenance record/log book.
For example, if it were recorded at 10 a.m. on March 10th, the 120 day interval
would begin at midnight the 10th and end at midnight July 8th.

• Fuel Added (in Litres)
• Shutdown Fuel
A comment should also be added to provide a reason why the aircraft was refuelled without
subsequently flying.

If the electronic QL-2 form for a flight is unable to be submitted prior to leaving the aircraft, crew are to?

record the flight details into the paper QL-2 form. A clear and legible photo of the paper
