- No suitable area —> flyaway to a new landing area

Select/deselect SLOW until hover IGE, select SLOW then EEPs shutoff on the ground

LOW power - Aircraft is descending @75KIAS after stores released —> flared RLDG
MED power - RoD @ 30KIAS is greater than 300ft/min —> RLDG
HIGH power - RoD @30KIAS is less than 300ft/min —> SLOW mode used —> RLDG
How can the crew decelerate the aircraft from the level flight speed to 30KIAS?
- Deceleration climbing turn
- Steep turn
How is the deceleration climbing turn flown?
10ºNU, 30ºAoB, left/right as req

- IAS for level flight (if descending set 75KIAS)
- Relax on EEPs

- Adjust IAS for RoD between 300-500ft/min not below 30KIAS
- Flat attitude RLDG
- EEPs shutoff on the ground

- Adjust IAS for 30KIAS
- Select SLOW as req —> @30KTS select SUP/MAX/INT for RoD between 300-500ft/min
- Flat attitude RLDG
- EEPs shutoff on the ground
