A

If a landing can be made within 30sec, then the crew should prioritise the landing and fight the fire on the ground, if not continue with the checklist while concurrently preparing to land

  • Attempt to confirm: MFD ENG page T4.5/NG/Nf —> Smoke/Fumes —> External C/S (ATC/Formation)
  • “ENG 2 Fire confirmed” —> Landing area?
  • Checklist out —> ENG EMERG Shutdown (Pause if on finals) —> NG below 20% = Shot 1 —> Start timer
  • Land ASAP
