What does FLWP and FLWoP mean?
FLWP = Forced landing with power
FLWoP = Forced landing without power

Look at HDG/compass

You are flying the ILS when you notice the VOR/ILS box has failed, what are your actions?
Do we have time to rebrief the localiser approach or should we go around and reset? Needs to checked
What does “Land as soon as Practical” mean when on approach or enroute?
On approach = Continue
Enroute = Descend to LSALT, if not visual, divert to nearest IF aerodrome

Approach = Continue the approach
Enroute = Descend to LSALT, if not visual forced LDG with PWR
For the FLWP, what are the generic crew duties?
FP: Commence descent, setup upper modes as required, PFD/TAC
NFP: Makes the decision, MAYDAY, setup PFD and TAC map w/ elevation, RMS thermal image?
What is the profile for a FLWP?
Between LSALT 1000AGL maintain 1000ft/min @100kts
Between 1000-500AGL set 500ft/min @50kts
Between 500-100AGL set 300ft/min @ 40kts
During the FLWP, which parameters are flexible?
IAS can be changed IOT manage track miles as required
The AFCS has failed, what changes should you make to the standard FLWP descent?
No greater than 500ft/min RoD
Explain how in the FLWP upper modes can be used:
On descent, used V/S mode, adjust speed before adjust V/S since its smoother
Explain the FLWoP actions?
Initial actions: 15PMI, 10ºNU, set 75KIAS, 1ºNU,

Hand over flying to the cockpit with both functioning MFDs

ONUS = Overshoot north, undershoot south
20º in tiger, overshoot by 20º to the north, undershoot 20º to the south, E/W = 0º and NE/SW etc = 10º
