Houses

Apartments or flats
purpose-built, or a large house divided into different apartments

one room divided into different areas for sleeping, cooking, etc.

may be temporary or permanent
Sheltered housing
small groups of houses purpose-built for elderly or disabled people; usually supervised
Residential accommodation
old people’s homes, convents, boarding schools

Location (is it near school, work, shops, etc?)
Size (is it big enough for all the family?)
Cost (is it affordable?)
Personal preferences (terraced, detached, apartment or dormer style?)
Energy efficiency (is it insulated and will it be economical to heat?)
