Weapons will always be under constant control

  • Within arm’s reach of team member
  • Service weapons can be secured by a GRD teammate
  • Weapons CAN NOT be locked in the operator’s vehicle for a short period of time (i.e., restaurants, or going to a convenience).
  • Weapons can be locked in a secure location in LEAs office
  • Weapons can be consolidated at a central location manned by GRD personnel or supported LEA’s at all times
  • Weapons can be maintained by other GRD personnel
  • Weapons, ammo, magazines, and other sensitive items will never be stored in a hotel safe.
