Manual Mode
In manual exposure mode, shooter controls both shutter speed and aperture
Camera’s Metering is ineffective
Sub-command Dial controls aperture
Main Command Dial controls shutter speed
To adjust ISO, Hold ISO button and rotate Main Command Dial
Exposure indicator can help correct exposure to subject
Found in viewfinder, on control panel, and on Live view monitor
Shutter Priority
Shooter chooses the shutter speed while the camera automatically adjusts aperture to optimal exposure
Camera’s Metering determines auto-adjustment
When in this mode, rotating the Main Command Dial will adjust shutter speed
To adjust ISO, Hold ISO button and rotate Main Command Dial
Aperture Priority
Shooter chooses the aperture or f-stop while the camera automatically adjusts shutter speed to optimal exposure
Camera’s Metering determines auto-adjustment
When in this mode, rotating the Sub-command Dial will adjust shutter speed
To adjust ISO, Hold ISO button and rotate Main Command Dial
Programmed Auto
In this mode, the camera automatically adjusts both shutter speed and aperture according to camera programming
In this mode, “Flexible Programming” is enabled
Flexible Programming is when different combinations of shutter speed and aperture can be selected by rotating the Main Command Dial
