Courage
The GRD operator must have the physical courage to move into a dangerous environment and accomplish the task that he has been given
Candor
The operator must be frank, open, and honest with fellow operators and leaders
Competence
all operators should strive to be competent in every aspect of GRD daily and mission operations
Commitment
This commitment is maintained by the individual operator’s continual contributions to the operations
Loyalty
Operators have taken an oath when they enlisted in the Texas National Guard that states that they will be loyal to the state and the nation and that they will support and defend the constitution of the state of Texas and United States.
Duty
– is the legal or moral obligation to do what should be done without being told to do it. Accomplishing all assigned and implied task to the fullest of your ability.
Selfless Service
The operator must resist the temptation to put self-gain, personal advantage, and self-interest ahead of what is best for the accomplishment of the mission.
Integrity
Being honest and upright, avoiding deception, and living the GRD professional values.
