- Gastric emtyping study (gold standard)
- rarely electrogastrography

A
Gastric retention of over 10% at 4 hours

Management of gastroparesis
A
These pts often get dehydrated due to nausea and vomitting.
- so rehydtration is important, correct electrolytes
Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrotomy
Suppress bacterial overgrowth
Symptomatic treatment of diarrhea and constipation
Diet Low in residue and fat
Enteral feeding
