Transmitting: Internal carotid A., branch of ascending pharyngeal A., emissary veins.

Between the jugular fossa of petrous temporal and occipital bone.
Transmitting: CN IX, X, XI - Glossopharyngeal, vagus, spinal accessory, internal jugular vein.
Hypoglossal canal

In the occipital bone above anterior part of the condyle.
Transmitting: hypoglassal nerve and its recurrent meningeal branch
