A
- To establish general standards and responsibilities governing acceptable uses of social media by authorized members and on behalf of the Los Angeles City Fire Department (LAFD or Department)
- Governs the use, administration, management, monitoring, and retention of social media and social media content, consistent with the law, City regulations and Department goals

A
Every social media user including, but not limited to, sworn and civilian members of the Department, full and part-time employees, contractors, interns, and Department volunteers who access or contribute content on behalf of the Department
