• To establish general standards and responsibilities governing acceptable uses of social media by authorized members and on behalf of the Los Angeles City Fire Department (LAFD or Department)
• Governs the use, administration, management, monitoring, and retention of social media and social media content, consistent with the law, City regulations and Department goals

Who does this policy apply to?

Answer 2

Every social media user including, but not limited to, sworn and civilian members of the Department, full and part-time employees, contractors, interns, and Department volunteers who access or contribute content on behalf of the Department
