- family history
- hypermobility
- rheumatoid, pes planus

- burning pain
- erythema

- 1st MTP joint deformity

A
- analgesics
- trial splints, toe spacers, bunion pads, low heel, wide fit shoes
- sometimes physio
- reassurance
