Explain the difference between a person who can complete a particular procedure competently and one who can complete the procedure proficiently
A proficient person has practiced the procedure until they can perform the procedure consistently with accuracy and efficiency.
The competent person is knowledgeable about the procedure and is able to perform the procedure to an acceptable standard, but lacks the consistent finesse that has been acquired by the proficient person
Define training
The process of bringing a person to an agreed standard of competency or proficiency by instruction and/or practice
