A

If all the elevators are at the ground floor and all the doors are open when you arrive in the elevator lobby, the elevators were likely automatically recalled. However, if an emergency recall key switch is readily available, ensure that it is manually set to the On position

A

Turn the firefighter control key switch in the elevator cab to the Off position. Once the elevator has been returned to normal operation, the doors will close automatically.

Q

if you reset the alarm panel, what can happen to the elevator?

A

In some older Calgary buildings, firefighter control of the elevator can be lost if the alarm system is reset prematurely, thereby causing elevator recall (Phase I) to be automatically turned off.
