The OpsWorks for Chef Automate server is configured on your behalf and powered by Amazon EC2, Amazon EBS, Amazon S3, and Amazon CloudWatch. For EC2 pricing information, see the EC2 pricing page. For S3 pricing information, see the S3 pricing page. For CloudWatch pricing information, see the CloudWatch pricing page. There are three EC2 instance types to choose from for running the Chef server: m4.large, r4.xlarge, r4.2xlarge. The hourly rate depends on the instance type used.
