Help to quickly deliver medical treatment care plan eg driving, work judge capacity of patient assess risk of patient Help make diagnosis
Why do we do bedside assessment?
Raise possibility of cognitive function impairments which may lead to needing further assessment/onward referral and may impact treatment/consent
3 ways to do a bedside assessment
observe
interview
screening assessment
Things that are looked for with cognitive function
