SPTA - AO actions
(Standard Post Trip Actions)
- If CR cant open NGN-L03B2/L10B2, open RTB’s
- If RTB’s are not accessible, open CEDM MG set breakers on L10 and L03
- If a SP pump cant be started, E-stop the DG
- Per 40DP-9OP02, walk down area
AO actions for Energizing PNA-D25
- breaker position inventory
- place all breakers to “off”
- If D25 to be energized by inverter, align inverter to bus
- If D25 to be energized by voltage regulator, align volt. reg.
- reset alarms
- Inform CR and close all previously closed breakers
AO actions for Energizing PKA-M41 from A Battery Charger
- If using ‘A’ Charger, Align charger
- If using ‘AC’ Charger, align charger
- Inform CR
AO actions for Aligning SBOG to PBA-S03 (BO)
-Disable S03 breakers
-If DC power not available, open all PBA-S03 supply breakers
-Close NAN-S03AB
-close applicable unit supply breaker
-If no DC power, manually close PBA-S03L
+ then able to close PKAM41
+ then energize PNAD25
-realign battery chargers
-Monitor SBOG loading for closing coping load breakers
-close CHNV836, seal injection HX outlet valve
-assist w/ swapping CHE-P01 power supply
AO actions for Minimizing Release to the environment
-Isolate Condenser draw-off, CDNV062/862
-Isolate condensate cross-tie, CDNV250/252
-Isolate CST to Condensate cross-tie, ASNV164
-Open V088, Cond. Receiver Tank to condenser and close V024, Cond. Receiver tank to cross-tie
-Isolate ASNV015 and V014, AS cross-tie
-Inform CR
-Close CDNV099, Cond. Serv. Header PCV outlet
potentially perform APP: 20, AS alignment
AO actions for putting LTOP in service
- close appropriate train battery breaker
- unlock and close applicable disconnect
AO actions for Excessive RCS leakage
-walk down charging/letdown
-monitor NC surge tank level and pressure
-isolate NC to LDHX
+ if not available, isolate back pressure control valve inlets
-align turbine building sumps to LRS
-isolate condensate X-tie
-isolate CDNV099, condensate service header PCV outlet valve
-isolate applicable charging pump normal discharge
-unlock and open charging pump discharge to HPSI
-close RCP HPSC isolation valve breakers
AO actions for loss of charging or letdown
- operate M7208, VCT outlet valve–blending room
- operate CHN-V117, VCT to drain to EDT–blending room
- align letdown and backpressure control valves as necessary and check valves for leakage–100’/110’ Aux
- operate charging pump normal and alternate discharge valves–charging pump ante rooms
- manipulate SIE-V508–100’ Aux CHP valve gallery
- vent CHP’s– 1 AO at vent receiver tank in 88’ pipe chase and another at drain pot in RW
Actions to manually trip an 86 relay
- open RRA breaker
- remove cover off lockout relay
- press armature plate down
- close RRA
Ao actions for NKN-M46 load reduction and main generator venting
-open NKN-M4608/09 FWPT A/B emergency oil pumps
-open NKN-M4606 main turbine EBOP
-if SBOG is not supplying SWYD loads AND/OR NKN-M45 is not powering U45/U46,
+ensure backup source transfer switches for U45/U46 breakers are closed and CB1/CB2 are in applicable positions
-isolate generator hydrogen supply line and PCV-10 regulator
-put PI, PCV10 bypass and hydrogen supply header vent valves in service
-open vent isolation valve to reduce pressure
-put SO float trap bypass valves and level sight glass in service
-if hydrogen pressure is greater than 8 PSIG, then modulate bypass valves to keep level in sight glass
-if h2 pressure is less than or equal to 8 PSIG, fully open bypass valves
-when CO2 vaporizer has power from NHN-M27, purge generator with CO2
Ao actions for local monitoring of IA pressure and emergency nitrogen supply
For LP N2:
- throttle open reg valve bypass to maintain 115-120 PSIG
- if PSV lifts,
Ao actions for feeding other units condensate pumps
- manually operate downcomer isolation valves
- close applicable FWP miniflow recirc valve
- open applicable FWP bypass
- open LPFWH isolation valves
- local operation of ADV

- if no CD pump running, start pump and AO open discharge bypass valve
- open discharge and close bypass when pressure is equal
- close CD X-tie sectionalizing isol. valve
- close ASN-V024, open V088
- close ASN-V164
- set PIC-208 controller to zero
- open PV-208 isolation valves
- when directed, adjust controller to 80 psig, or open bypass if controller doesn’t work
- isolate B/D HX supply

- un-isolate CD cross-tie to U1
- close ASN-V024
- close ASN-V164
- isolate BDHX supply and CD X-tie regulator PV-208
- open PV-208 bypass
