Q

Sensory pathway is formed of/

A

3 Neurons
-1st order neuron and it is the neuron of Dorsal root ganglion its process goes peripherally and the center goes to the spinal cord the preiphery receive stimuli from receptors and tranmit it by process to dorsal root to spinal cord
-2nd order neuron in the spinal cord and at which the first rely and it decussates and ascend in brainstem as leminscus then to thalamus

3rd order Neuron it VPLN Of thalamus
Ventral Postero lateral nucleus of thalamus passing through psoterio limb of internal capsule and corona radiata then reaches the cerebral cortex .

A

Carried By CN5 Trigeminal
First Neuron is the Trigemnial ganglion nerons which as DRG has pseduounipolar Neurons and get impulses of sensation from face branches and it central processes join to form trigeminal root and reach the Spinal Nucleus Of Trigeminal …
second Neuron from The spinal Nucelus Of Trigeminal reache opposite site of body and ascends in TrigminoThalmic tract to VPMN of thalamus then the 3rd neuron ascends to cross Posterior limb of internal capsule and Corona Radiata to reach somatosensory postcentral gyrus upside down remeber
