A

Each contracting state shall:
1) provide an aeronautical information service;
2) agree with one or more other contracting states for the provision of a joint service;
3) delegate the authority for the provision of the service to a non-governmental agency, provided the Standards and Recommended Practices of this annex are adequately met

What are the general specifications for aeronautical information? (Distribution?)

A

Each element of the Integrated Aeronautical Information Package for international distribution shall include English text for those parts expressed in plain language

Place names shall be spelt in conformity with local usage, transliterated, when neccessary, into the Latin alphabet.

A

An aeronautical information service shall receive and/or originate, collate or assemble, edit, format, publish/store and distribute aeronautical information/data concerning the entire territory of the State as well as area in which the State is responsible for air traffic services outside its territory.
