Describe swimming
Swimming is an individual or team-racing sport that takes place in pools or open water (sea, lake…)
Swimming requires the use of entire body especially arms and leg motions to move through water and reach the end of the swimming lanes
The most important element of swimming is the natural floatation of the body in water
It is divided to four different strokes of butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle in different swimming events
There is a referee that has full control of the competition and the swimmers
There are a number of rules for acceptable forms of each stroke and also regulations for what types of swimsuits, caps, jewelry and injury tapes are allowed at competitions
Tennis
Tennis with the original name of ‘lawn tennis’ is a racket game which is played individually against a single player (singles) or between two teams of two players (doubles)
The players should hit a hollow rubber ball with rackets over a net into an opponent’s court.
The ball should be thrown in a way that the other player cannot return it with ease.
If the opponent cannot return the ball and it lands in the court, the player wins a point and the opponent loses one.
The players or teams start on opposite sides of the net. One player begins the game as the server, and the opposing player is the receiver. Service alternates game by game between the two players or teams.
Tennis is played in points: Four points win a game, six games win a set, and two or three sets win a match.
Yoga
Yoga is an ancient practice that involves physical poses, concentration, and deep breathing.
Yoga masters believe that there are seven Chakras in human body which are the center points of energy, thoughts, feelings and physical movements.
When energy becomes blocked in a chakra, it triggers physical, mental, or emotional imbalances; that is why players practice some movements or Asanas to free energy and release the blocked Chakra
Some yoga exercises focus only on the connection between the body and breath, which can be a calming experience
other schools of yoga involve some movements and poses that give you the chance to stretch muscles and practice strength, relaxation and balance
There are many different schools/ types of yoga available. The style a person chooses will depend on their expectations and level of physical strength.
Modern yoga focuses on poses designed to stimulate inner peace and physical energy and it can be done individually or with a group under the supervision of a master
