37- Last Supper Flashcards
The chief priests and teachers of the law were seeking a way to kill Jesus. Satan entered into Judas Iscariot, one of Jesus’ twelve disciples, and he went to the leaders of the Jews and agreed to hand Jesus over to them for thirty pieces of silver. Now it was time for the Passover celebration, and Jesus said, “I have wanted so much to eat this Passover meal with you before I suffer. I will not eat it again until it has its fulfillment in the Kingdom of God. But one of you right here is going to betray me.”

The disciples were upset and began to ask Him, “You don’t mean me, do you? Lord, who is it?” “It’s the one I give this piece of bread to.” He dipped the bread in the sauce and gave it to Judas Iscariot. “Hurry and do it,” Jesus said. It was already dark when Judas took the bread and left.

After they had eaten the Passover meal, Jesus took the bread, gave thanks, broke it and gave it to the disciples. He said, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this to remember me.” In the same way, Jesus took the cup and said, “This is the New Covenant in my blood which is poured out for you for the forgiveness of sins.”

When they had shared the bread and the cup and after Judas had gone out, Jesus said, “All of you will fall away from me. But after I am resurrected, I will meet you in Galilee.” And the disciples were all very sad. After the Passover meal was finished, they sang a psalm. Then they left the city of Jerusalem and went out to a garden on the Mount of Olives together.
Ore pee eidipa ainosa emukate naok enkikompe, nejoki Yesu ninche, “Isikisiki ade pooki aailanyisho, kake ore pee aaitopiuni, naituruk te intae alo Galilaya.” Nejo pooki ajo meidim aisika. Ore pee erany osinkolio neipang aapuo olchampa le Gatsemane to ldoinyo loo Loirienito.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2
