E.g. noise, temp, fatigue, hunger (keep as much as possible the same)

- Does the set up of the task in the study reflect that task in everyday life?
- If not, it lacks mundane realism
- It is important to ensure tasks reflect everyday life

Can the results of the study apply to:
- everyday life
- people (everyone)

A
Measuring what it intends to
INTERNAL- Does the measurement tool measure what it intends to?
EXTERNAL- ecological- can it apply to all settings?
- population- can it apply to all people?
- temporal- can it apply across time?
