Aggregated, Uniform and Random

What is aggregated distribution?
A
Animals tend to live in groups, for example elephants, they may form family or social groups, they may also cluster because they share similar recourses from the same area

What are the benefits of aggregated distribution?
A
Easier to find food, avoid predation reducing chance that they will be eaten

What is uniform distribution?
A
Individuals are spaces evenly, this may be due to resource availability this increases resources for each individual, examples include large leopards or nesting penguins

What is random distribution?
A
Individuals do not form groups, trees and rainforest plants come close to being random
