White Belt Sparring Technique #1: move forward and backward
slide-up back foot to push front foot forward
or slide-back front-foot to push back foot backward
White Belt (2-step) Fighting System: straight punches and using feet
1) Double punch, rear leg push kick (perhaps fighting like Scotty from Kenpo taught me …using legs to push opponent)
2) Straight punches - (No triple jabs) (jabs & crosses)

left (jab), right (cross)

How-to Block Straight Punches
Block with hand that is on *same* side of the body, using (what Bu Kwan Ja Nim Brad calls the “hello kitty …swat” –on an angle, fast and firm)
Why? So you don’t open yourself up to their other hand striking you.
Make sure you’re in a fighting stance (body angled toward opponent) …don’t leave yourself wide-open.
Also you need to be able to move around during this exercise …relax and move…
