Head Lock

A

1) “push and pull”: use bony part of left fist against their chin to push as you pull with right hand to make space
2) “step and strike” step forward and hit opponent in groin (inner thigh for practice)
3) “tilt the head back”: use index finger against pressure point below nose to tilt opponent’s head back
4) “grab the tricep, front-up, strike” (as you step with your right foot, first so that you are directly in-front of them, as you transition your left hand to their tricep, pull your right hand back (as if for a knife-hand) strike the side of their neck and pivot on your back (right) foot for power.

6-basic Stick Block & Counter

A

(Adult only)

1) reach to the outside of your (right-)hand holding your stick to grab opponents hand and lift, so you can strike his/her ribs
2) reach to the the inside of your (right-)hand holding your stick to grab opponents hand and lower, so you can strike him/her on the head
3) repeat-1
4) repeat-2
5) reach to the outside of your (right-)hand holding your stick, grab opponents hand and keep it low so you can strike him/her on the head
6) after stirring the pot, s-curve the stick to his/her ribs
7) after stirring the pot, strike him/her on the head
