how does it present?
A
constitutional symptoms - fever, weight loss, anorexia, malaise rash AKI active urine respiratory

how is it investigated?
A
high index of suspicion
urinalysis - ‘active urine’ blood ++ protein ++
bloods - raised inflammatory markers, AKI, anaemia
immunology
MPA - pANCA MPO
GPA - cANCA PR3
biopsy

how is it managed?
A
immunosuppression - steroids, cyclophosphamide/ rituximab
plasma exchange
supportive: dialysis, ventilation
