who gets it?

A
80% sporadic - mainly middle-aged females 
20% associated with tuberous Sclerosis 
- autosomal dominant 
- mental retardation, epilepsy etc. 
- 80% of TS patients develop AML

incidental finding - 50%
loin pain 
haematuria 
mass
Wunderlich's syndrome (10%) massive retroperitoneal bleed

A

USS - bright echo pattern

CT - fatty tumour of low density

A

4cm cut off

elective: embolization/ partial nephrectomy
emergency: embolization, emergency nephrectomy
