A
Back pressure: any obstruction, stone, tumour: last point in tract is kidney
Collecting system continues to dilate and renal parenchyma becomes atrophic
Hydronephrosis: Kidney stays the same size, but function decreases

A
Bilateral damage both kidneys get damages
