Population Distribution
Where people live within a geographic area
Examples: Affects cultural economic, political, conditions, & environmental aspects in any given area
Dispersed
How something is distributed throughout a certain area
Examples: Patterns like uniform, clustered, uniform, linear, and random
Climate
Climate is the long-term temperature in an area
Examples: The climate in California is hot & rainy
Landforms
Landforms are the natural features of Earth’s surface
Examples: Highlands, and lowlands
Temperate Climate
Places with moderate temperature and adequate precipitation amounts & are usually more densely populated
Human Migration
When people permanently move from one place to the other
Examples: It was human migration when I moved to this house
Population Density
The number of people occupying a unit of land
Examples: There are 5 people in my house (Thats the Density (Digits))
Arithmetic Density
The total # of people per given areas of land. Evenly spread
Examples: Evenly spread throughout the arable land
Physiologic Density
The total # of people in a unit of arable land
Examples: Cramped into a space (only arable land)
Subsistence Agriculture
Provides crops & livestock fro only farmers. Based on survival
Examples: They grow in order to live. Less surplus the less hands on deck
Carrying Capacity
The maximum occupancy an environment can sustain
Example: The most people the dining hall can hod is 107
