What are the key areas that are supplied by HT?

How many OSA normal AHUs are there?
6 that normally supply 100% OSA.
How does the HT system respond when the Winter Shutdown Mode Switch is in AUTO?
the outside air dampers and the recirc damper will shift to the 75% outside/25% turbine building position. When outside air temp reaches 36F the A HT exhaust fan will stop. It will restart above 36F.
What supplies power to the HT AHU fans?
NG
What supplies power to the normal roof exhaust fans?
NH
What happens to the intake and recirc dampers on a loss of IA?
normal supply dampers fail open
recirc dampers fail closed
How is the air through the AHUs cooled?
using evaporative cooling. Water from DS is recirculated from a sump across an evaporative module. Level in the sump is maintained by a float valve.
How many dampers are associated with each AHU?
3 (2 take suction from OSA and 1 takes a suction on the turbine building)
How many turbine building roof exhaust fans are there?
4 (only 1 has an auto feature that works with the Winter Shutdown Switch)
How many exhaust fans in the battery room are normally running at one time?
one. the other is redundant in case of fire and exhaust failure
What happens if a battery room exhaust fan is running but has low flow?
A low flow alarm will come in at the local panel and in the main control room
What happens if HT is lost to the battery or switchgear rooms?
a temporary blower must be installed. the areas must be monitored more frequently
What happens to HT on a loss of NKN-D41?
no power in the turbine building hvac panel, so all operations must be done at the individual local breakers
