What is a search engine?
A search engine is a website that allows you to search the web using keywords. The most popular search engine is Google.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small piece of text sent to your browser by a website when you visit a website or log in.
What precautions should you take when using a public computer?
Delete cookies after an online session, otherwise the next person on the computer could go to the same site by logging in through your account. Delete your browsing history. Select not to save password.
What is a web browser?
A web browser (or just browser) is a program that displays webpages.
How does a browser display a web page?
When you type in a web address (URL) into a browser, the browser collect the information from the server that hosts the website and displays it on your screen.
