Q

Explain how to do the experiment that affects the rate of reaction of which a vitamin tablet dissolves in water

A
  1. Use a graduated cylinder to measure 50cm3 of water into a conical flask. Start your clock when you add the tablet to the flask. Stop the clock when there is no more fizzing
  2. Repeat the experiment using a stirring rod to stir the solution
  3. Repeat again this time using warm water above 30 degrees
  4. Do again with the tablet broken it 1/4
  5. Repeat again by crushing the tablet with a mortar and pestle

Q

Show the effect of HCI concentration on rate of reaction with magnesium

A
  1. Place 50cm3 of various HCI concentrations in five conical flasks
  2. Add on equal size of magnesium to each flask and calculate the time it takes for it to react

Q

What is the partial theory

A

The rate of a reaction simply depends on how often and how hard the reacting particles collide with each other.
