Q

What is the moon

A

The moon is a satellite of the earth. It’s revolves around the earth every 28 days. At the same time the moon is rotating on its own axis. As both the rotating and revolving of the moon occur at the same time we only see one side of the moon. The moon is non luminous and had no atmosphere as the moons gravity is 1/6 of the earths. The Mons gravity pulls on the sea levels on earth causing high tide on the side closest to the moon

17
Q

Tell me about waxing crescent

A

Increasing section of the new side of the moon reflecting light from the sun as the moons gravity is rotates

18
Q

Tell me about thr first quarter moon

A

One half of the nearer side of the moon is reflecting light from the sun

19
Q

Tell me about waxing gibbous

A

Most of near side of the moon is reflecting sunlight

20
Q

Tell me about the full moon

A

All of the near side of the moon is reflecting sunlight

21
Q

Tell me about waning gibbous

A

Less of the moon visible as light does not reflect all of the moons near side surface

22
Q

Tell me about the third quarter moon

A

Half of the near side is reflecting light from thr

23
Q

Tell me about the waning crescent

A

Small section of the near side of the moon reflecting light, just before a new moon

24
Q

Explain the way seasons work

A

These are changes in our weather due to the arch’s rotation on a tilted axis of 25.5 degrees. I see earth revolves around the Sun every 364 1/4 days the part of the Earth tilted towards the Sun experience the summer and the part tilted away from the Sun experience winter.

25
Q

Why do warm and cold temperatures occur

A

Warm temperatures occurred during summer as the Sun’s light is shining directly on a smaller area. Colder temperatures occur during winter as the sun is lower in the sky so sunlight covers a wider area.
