- 1935 Reich Labour Service –> mandatory 6 months military training 18-25
- DAF (German Labour Front) –> Subisidised sports, cinemas and holidays –> 10 million holidays (1938)
- 4 Year Plan (1936-1939) –> Retrained key sectors of the workforce
