Frequency. This means how often you train. This can be adjusted to manage progressive overload.

I means intensity. This will decide how hard someone trains. Intensity will vary on depending on the other factors of the FITT principle. For example, the type (T in FITT) of training will differ the intensity. A sporting example of this would be a runner raising their heart rate in the target zone.
