Mechanical advantage

A

When the output of the lever is greater then the input of the lever - that is when the load is greater then the efforr so you get more out than you are putting in

Mechanical disadvantage

A

Opposite of a mechanical advantage, happens when the effort load are on the same side of the fulcrum but the effort sits ckoser to the fulcrum than the load does
