Deltoids
Location: In the upper part of the body, covering your shoulders
Movement: Raise the arms in all directions at the shoulders
Pectoralis major
Location: In the upper part of the chest at the front
Movement: Adduct the arm at the shoulder
Latissimus dorsi
Location: At the back of the body, either side of the chest
Movement: Pull your arms down at the shoulders
Biceps
Location: At the top of each arm at the front
Movement: flex the arm at the elbow
Triceps
Location: At the top of each arm at the back
Movement: Extend the arm at the elbow
External obliques
Location: To the side of the abdomen
Movement: Pull the chest downwards flex and rotate the spinal colomn
Gluteals
Location: In the middle of the body at the back, forming the bottom
Movement: Adduct and extend the leg at the hips, pull the leg back
Hip flexors
Location: Sit deep in the front of the hip and connect the leg
Movement: Flex the hip, help the leg and knee up towards the body
Quadriceps
Location: At the top of each leg at the front
Movement: Extend the leg at the knee
Hamstrings
Location: At the top of eqch leg at the back
Movement: Extend the leg at the knee
Gastrocnemius
Location: At the bottom of each leg at the back. Known as the calf
Movement: Point the toes at the ankle
Tibialis anterior
Location: Runs down the shin
Movement: Pull the toes up towards
