-Sanitation generally refers to the provision of facilities and services for the safe disposal of human urine and feces
-but can also refer to the maintenance of hygienic conditions through services such as garbage collection and waste water disposal.

Harassment, assault, animal attacks on women due to no private toilets.

The majority of the children and youth not enrolled in schools worldwide are female, with inadequate sanitation contributing to this trend.

Because few schools have toilets girls often don’t attend especially when they are menstruating. Meaning females are missing school which means they have a lack of health literacy, such as how to prevent pregnancies and how to prevent HIV/AIDS. Increasing mortality and morbidity.

Increase in YLL as there are there are more females suffering from HIV/AIDS due to lack of health literacy in school.

Lacking health literacy may mean more individuals are suffering from diseases such as HIV/AIDS, presence of disease and illness which is an aspect of physical health and wellbeing.

Inadequate sanitation is one of the main causes of contaminated water supplies, and leads to an increase in infectious diseases such as diarrhea, cholera and typhoid.
